TOPIC: AVOID UNBELIEF
TEXT: NUMBERS 14:20-23
Key Verse: "Surely they shall not see the land which I sware unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it" (Numbers 14:23).
Unbelief is lack of faith in God and His word. It is a sin. When God makes a promise, He keeps it; He is not like man who can decide to change his mind.
God did not forget the promise He made to Abraham many years back, that his seed (his children from one generation to another), would inherit the land where he was a stranger.
Abraham believed and obeyed God. Many children hear but do not believe and obey the word of God. They do not believe that simple faith in Jesus Christ's atonement on the cross at Calvary can set them free from sin.
Do not behave like that. Have faith in God, trust in His promises which cannot fail, and inherit the blessedness of the Almighty God.
Prayer: Dear Lord, help me to avoid unbelief.
