BIBLE READING: Isaiah 47-48

GHS: 190 - CALLED UNTO HOLINESS

TEXT: MARK 13:24-37.

I welcome you to our Monday Bible study, and everything we are going to hear from this glorious Bible study will prepare us adequately to be watchful, and to be fully ready for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ IN Jesus Name Amen.

* We continue with our study of the Gospel according to Mark, and the Gospel according to St Mark leads us to chapter 13, and we've been studying and going through this chapter quite for sometime, and you know that the Lord Jesus Christ is responding to the demand and the questions of His disciples, pertaining to His prophecy concerning the end time. They wanted to know more about the prediction and the Prophecy of the end time, although they knew that Jesus Christ will come again, and they knew that everything He has said and predicted will definitely come to pass, but they wanted to know how it will happen, and they wanted to know what are the signs of His coming, and they wanted to know the signs of the end of the world, and they also wanted to know when will the time be that the temple will be destroyed and demolished, and in the answer of the Lord Jesus Christ, He had been telling them that time the question was asked, until the very end of time He had been outlining for them the things that will happen nearing the end of the world. And in all those series of events that will take place, that's what brings us into the subject we are taking about today which calls us to watchfulness and readiness for the Second coming of Christ. He admonished His disciples to be watchful for they know not when He shall come, And He said, in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. ‎He made an illustration of a fig tree, He told them to learn a parable of the fig tree; when her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near. He said so ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.
and as we learn from that, He said all He has been talking about, all the signs of the end He has been talking about, and when we shall see those predictions coming to pass, we should know that His coming is nigh, even at the doors. And then He said something specific concerning that, He said we should take heed, and He said that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done. That is the generation that sees all those things happening, and all those events happening. All the signs He has given and all the things we are studying about is happening around us today. He said heaven and earth shall pass away but none of His word will pass away. Everything Jesus Christ predicted must surely come to pass, all these things we are learning in His Prophetic understanding will not pass away until they are fulfilled. In the concluding verse, He said we should Watch.
If you're born again, if you're a child of God and you're waiting for the coming of the Lord, you must be ready and you must keep watching.

POINT ONE: THE GREAT UNPRECEDENTED WONDERS AT CHRIST'S COMING.

MARK 13:28-28

I. The shaking of Shattered Constellations.

Mark 13:24-25..
He said, But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in Heaven shall be shaken,
This passage tends to sober us, Jesus Christ is talking about the things that will happen nearing the end of the world, He used an illustration of a fig tree, so we can understand that when all His ‎predictions are fulfilling, we should know that He's right at the door. He said we should learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, we know that summer is near. And when we talk about constellation, we are talking about the arrangement of all the stars and of all the planet, and everything will be shaken, even to the very galaxy of the powerful planet, everything will be shaken, that's what Jesus Christ said. There's going to be Rapture before the great tribulation, and that's what we are waiting for now, there's going to be the catching away and the translation of the people of God, Christ is coming and when He comes, He's going to take us away, and after that, the great tribulation will come up, and that's the beginning of sorrows. And then from the middle of those seven years period, there's going to be great tribulation, and at the end of the great tribulation, Jesus Christ will come back again to establish His Kingdom. Jesus Christ predicted the events that will happen nearing the end of the world, He prophesied, He declared that after the tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And as we read that, that may come to you as a surprise, but actually, the Old Testament Prophets has spoken about it, and as we look at the Old Testament, look at Isaiah for example, he predicted the day of the Lord, he said, the will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger. Joel also spoke about the same thing,  he said, the Lord will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.  The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.
The Lord has said that's what He will do, ‎Isaiah prophesied about it, Jesus Christ emphasized these prophecies of the Old Testament, He said everything will be shaken and shattered, that's why we call it "UNPRECEDENTED WONDERS". And it's going to happen after the coming of Christ, and that's exactly what Jesus Christ also said. He said there will be the shaken, there will be the shattering of the constellations and the galaxies of the power of the sky shall be shaken, he's said the sun shall be darkened to darkness, and the moon shall turn into blood before the great and the terrible day of the Lord comes. The New Testament has collaborated that. And JESUS Christ said, See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven. God spoke on earth through all those prophets, and He spoke through Jesus Christ our Lord when He was here on earth, we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. After the rapture, great tribulation will take place, and after the great tribulation, all the stars, the sun, and the moon and all the firmament will be shaken, and when the earth is shaken, it will be shifted out of place. You understand as the Lord Jesus Christ has prophesied, as He has predicted the time of His coming, and that time of the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ that all these things shall be shaken is very very near.

II. The Sight of the Son coming with Great Power. Mark 13:26. Daniel 7:13-14. Christ is coming back again, and when He comes, He will come with great power and Glory, this is talking about the second coming of Christ, after the rapture has taken place, there will be Great tribulation, and after the great tribulation of those days, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken,‎ and then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. Everything will be shaken on earth.

*This coming of Christ in Great Power and glory, it's something that has been predicted in the Old Testament, and JESUS is not affirming it to us in the New Testament, and you understand that the Old Testament Prophets saw Jesus Christ from His birth, they saw His childhood, they saw Him as the Son of God given Himself for our sins, and now Daniel said he saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before Him, and there was given Him dominion, and glory, and a Kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve Him: His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. That's talking about Jesus Christ, and Exactly that's what Jesus affirmed, that the Son of God will come. And when He comes, He will set up His Kingdom, He will set up His rule  He will set up His Dominion, and it shall be forever and ever. Jesus Christ came to died on the Cross of Calvary for our sins, and you remember when JESUS Christ was betrayed, and then He was given to the hand of Caiaphas and Highpriest to try Him, there's something important in what happened at that time, when they were asking Him whether He is the Christ or not, but Jesus held his peace.
And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God. Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, hereafter shall ye see the Son of man, sitting on the right hand power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. ‎they were going to kill Him, they were going to crucify Him, He was going to die, and yet, He said hereafter, after that crucifixion, after that burial, and after rising from the dead, there's assurance that Jesus had a sight, He knew that the first coming was not going to be the end, He came to made the sacrifice, He came to redeemed us and then He said after all that has been done, hereafter shall they see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. He said when He comes again in the clouds of power and glory in the brightness, this is different from the rapture, at the time of the rapture, not every eyes will see Him, in fact, at the time of the rapture, He will not step on the earth, He will be in the sky and then He will catch up the Saints to meet Him in the air, and not every eyes will see Him, only the people who are saved and sanctified and they are living a righteous life, only those people will see Him and hear the sounds of the trumpet, and after the rapture, there will be Great tribulation, and after that great tribulation, all these things will be happening.

II.  The Summon of the Saints. Mark 13:27; Matthew 24:31. Christ will summon the Saints, He will call the Saints because He said, He will send His angels, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, that is from the North, from the South, from the East and from the West, and everywhere from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven. Those elects are the people who accepts Christ and they believe Him, this is the second coming, now all those people that believed on Him at that time He says, He will send His Angels and then they will gather those Saints together, actually Matthew also tells us about that, And He shall send His Angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. It will happen, and I pray when that happens, when the rapture takes place, you will be ready and you ‎will go with the Lord IN Jesus Name Amen.

POINT TWO: GREAT UNDENIABLE WISDOM IN CHRIST'S COMMAND.

MARK 13:26,29-33

He has given us commandments, and that commandment He has given us, there is great wisdom there, there's undeniable wisdom there. The command He has given us is, we should  learn, He said, now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near, and He said we should take heed, and watch and pray: for we know not when the time is.
He said we should learn, and that's the commandment of the Lord. The children of Israel had different climate, they had summer, they had winter, they had Orton, and they knew when winter will come, and they knew when those other condition of their climate will come, and He says we should notice that, when we see all these things happening, we should know that His coming is very nearer, and He brings it to conclusion of what we are to learn, He said that we should learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, we know that summer is near, all these that He has outlined from Mark chapter 13:14, all through this time, when we see everything coming to pass, we know that His coming near.
✔️ We have the period of rapture.
✔️ we have the period of great tribulation.
✔️ we have the second coming of Christ. And JESUS said, the Number three (That is the second coming ), when you see all these things happening, know that second coming is near, number one which is the rapture is nearer, that's why you don't have anytime to look back, you don't have anytime to compromise, you don't have anytime to go away from the Lord and you don't have to say, you're going from the Lord a little while, and you will come back latter, that latter will not come to you because number one (the rapture) is much more nearer.and He said, So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors. The generation that sees all these things coming to
pass, He assure us that Heaven and earth shall pass away: but His words shall not pass away. If we know that His word will not pass away, we must be ready because, of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

I. Re-learn the Parable of His imminent coming. Mark 13:29-33; Ezekiel 12:25,28.

Here is the parable of Jesus Christ, He said, learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near. We have learnt it before, and we learn it again, He said we should learn and keep learning, you keep on learning and you keep on waiting, all these signs that He said it will happen, when these things happened, no delay of His coming anymore, no postponement, no prolonging the time anymore. The Lord said, For I am the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord GOD. The Lord is assuring us that, He and the Father are One, and when the Father speak, it is done, and when the Son speak, it is done, and the word that He speaks will be fulfilled, that's why He said, For I am the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord GOD. Once you see all these things come to pass, and JESUS said, the generation that sees all these things happening will not pass until all these things be done, He says even if people didn't believed, if people didn't accept, He says even if they were rebellious, His word will be performed. Once we see all the signs that Jesus has given, then we know He's not going to be prolonged anymore, but Jesus said, the generation that sees all these things coming to pass, that generation shall not pass until everything be done, the words that Jesus has spoken are going to be done.

II. ‎Remember the Performance of His indestructible Word. Mark 13:31; Isaiah 40:8; Zechariah 1:6.1 Peter 1:25, Matthew 24:36-38; Psalms 19:13. The world will be destroyed, the world stars will be shaken, all the galaxies and everything will be shaken, but the word of Christ will not be shaken, and He wants us to remember this all the time, He wants us to be conscious of everything all the time.
God has sent the Lord Jesus Christ and He has put His word in His mouth, and He says, we should hear Him. God spake to the people by prophets in days gone by, but now He's speaking to us by His Son, and now all the words of God given unto Jesus that He has spoken to us, they will stand forever and ever, earth shall pass away, but Christ's words shall not pass away, like the Lord has said exactly, He's going to do it. All the constellations of heaven will be shaken, but His word shall not be shaken, and He said when we see all these things, the Lord told us something very important that we ought to take note of, He said but of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
There are people who are ignorant of what Jesus has said, and they tells their congregation that the rapture will take place at the time they predicted on their own, they have fixed the date that rapture will take place, and because those their followers are not reading the word of God, they believes their Prophets, they believes their pastors, they believes their preachers than what Jesus Christ has said, in fact, it happens in some years gone by, that a man like that rose up and he said, at this particular day Christ will come, maybe around 1984 then, and all their members, and all the people that listened to him, they sold their houses, they sold everything they had, and they wore white garment and they went to stay on the particular mountain, they were praying and looking up for the coming of Christ because the prediction he has said on that particular day that Jesus will come, and they were eventually disappointed,  Christ didn't come according to the prediction of the presumptuous preacher at that time. The same thing is happening today, that's why we ought to watch, as we see the pandemic, as we see all things that are happening, there are people on the basis of that, they want to set date that JESUS Christ will come, look at your Bible and underline what Jesus Christ said, He said but of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. There maybe an Authora that write a book and then they printed it and they put it on the internet and their book is everywhere, and because they have prophesied before and everything happened, now they are telling people who wants to read about them that Jesus will come at a particular day, and those who are watching them on the YouTube, they set a day and that the rapture will sound, they said they have discovered the time Christ will come, but remember what Jesus said, He said but of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Reject the presumption of all those unwise imprudent of Satan, Jesus said but of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father, and He said, we should take heed, and watch and pray: for we know not when the time is.
You must reject that kind of presumptuous prophesy, reject the people that are predicting the day of the Rapture, they said they know the time of the rapture, when JESUS Christ has said no body knows. No prophet, no preacher, no denomination pastor knows, no date setter knows the actual time of the rapture. Jesus Christ said, but of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the Angels of heaven, but His Father only. If the Father kept it from the Son, if the Father kept it from the Angels and from everyone, not even Paul the Apostle set any date, not even Peter, they didn't set any date, they didn't know the date when Christ will come, the day of the rapture is unknown to everyone, no body knew, and nobody knows the date when the great tribulation will start, nobody knows the day when Christ will comes, nobody knows, that why JESUS Christ warned us so that we can be watchful, ready and taking heed everytime, at the time of Noah, the people didn't know at that time when the flood will come, God didn't give any date to Noah, He just told him to be very sure and to be certain of this, that is why we must be busy doing what we are doing rather than speculating what the date, the hour and the time of the rapture will take place, Jesus said, watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. Because we know not, we should watch, because none can predict, we should watch, and this should be our Daily prayer: Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
This is a prayer you ought to pray, and be conscious of setting date when Christ said, nobody knows, not even the Angels of God in Heaven, and not even the Son of Man, but only the Father, if somebody then goes ahead and say, Christ is coming at this particular day, believe him not, that means he's accusing Christ of lying, he's accusing Christ of deception, Christ says nobody knows, a person like that that will set a date and write a book and put his message on the YouTube or everywhere and announce the date that Christ will come, that is presumptuous sin, and for you, you ought to pray that you will not be deceived, you will not believe and accept all the presumptuous of those deceivers, let not that powerful presumptuous preacher have power over you, to be presumptuous is a great transgression, and to be setting date when Christ says nobody knows, it's just a waste of time, it is a waste of life, and of resources, and then it's a great transgression and the Lord will help us to reject all the presumption of those imprudent deceivers.

POINT THREE: THE GREAT ‎UNDIMINISHING WATCHFULNESS WITH CHRIST-LIKE CONSECRATION.

MARK 13:34-37

Our great undiminishing watchfulness consecration, is that we are watching, and we are not diminishing our watchfulness, we keep on watching and we keep on waiting. He has given us a work to do, He has given us an assignment to carry out, and He said we should watch, He has given us a duty to concentrate on, He said we should watch over that duty, and He said, take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. Since we don't know the time, we don't know the hour and the date, He says when He comes, He comes suddenly, and lest He find you sleeping, the Lord is telling us to watch.

We have a work, we have an assignment, and we need to have consecration.

I Consecration for His eternally Profitable work.  Mark 13:34; John 4:34; John 9:4; Acts 20:24. After He spoke to His disciples, after He was crucified, after He died, after He rose again, He appeared unto them 40days with many infallible proofs, they knew that He's the redeeming Christ that will come again and after that, He went to heaven, He's been in Heaven, He left us and He gave us assignment to do, He gave to every man his work, and He commanded the porter to watch, He said we should go into all the world and preach the word of God, the work He has given us is:

✔️ preaching the Gospel to all nations.
✔️ teaching all nations to observe all the things He has said, and baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son,  and of the Holy Ghost. (Mark 16:15). That's why in the early church, they that were scattered abroad went everywhere preaching the word of God, it's your assignment, it's your duty and we need to have the same consecration that Jesus had when He was doing the work, remember, He has given every man, every believers and every child of God work to do, Jesus had consecration that He will do the will of Him that sent Him until He finished His work, His consecration must be our consecration, we must not allow any other things to take the place of the ‎work of God in our hand, Jesus said, I must work the works of Him that sent Me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. That is the attitude of Paul the Apostle and that should be your attitude, that's the attitude of all the Apostles of the Lord at that time, they committed themselves and they consecrated themselves to do what the Lord has commanded them to do.
That's why you shouldn't allow anything you see, anything you feel, anything you hear, and anything taking place around you to distract you, don't allow those things to move you, and know that Christ has given us, He has given every man His work to do, Paul the Apostle knew that God will protect him and God will preserve him once he concentrate on the work the Lord has given him to do, on going to all the cities, and all the places that the Lord has sent him to do the work, he knew that the Lord will preserve his life, and we knew that His promises will not pass away, the promises of redemption, deliverance, watching over him will not pass away, he knew that heaven was watching over him until he will finish and do everything the Lord has committed him to do, that's why he said, persecution, adversities does not move him, pandemic, they don't move him, he has committed evangelism into our hands, and edifying the church, planting churches into our hand, and growing the churches and telling our neighbours and our friends, and telling everyone of the work of God, the sacrifices of Jesus at Calvary, and He says He's going to consecrate and concentrate on that. Paul said, But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. That is the same work He has given unto us that we will testify and witness and publish and proclaim and declare the gospel of the Grace of God. ‎Romans  12:6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;  12:7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;  12:8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness. He tells us to concentrate and consecrate, be a man of focus, be a woman of focus don't be a person that is dragging here and there, and then he cannot consecrate on the work the Lord has given him. Remember He gave every man the work that he must do, and He said we must keep on watching over that ministry that's why He says, we have different gifts, and different graces, we have differing grace and differing gift, and if it is preaching, if it's proclamation of the word, concentrate on that according to your Faith, if it's counseling, if it's helping people, concentrate on that, and if it's making them to stand in the way, in the word and in the will of God concentrate on that, make them do that, concentrate and don't be a Jack of all trade and master of none and you're dangle into various way, and then you forget the primary thing, the primary focus is the work of evangelism the Lord has committed into our hand, all that must be done, the Lord wants us to concentrate, knowing that Christ is coming and knowing at the time of our leaving this world, this is nearer now than when we believed, He says you're a preacher, you're a declarer of the word of God, you're a witness of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, He says let us concentrate on that, improve and deepen on your teaching, and expand and extend your teaching, and let the people know that you're thinking of them and then you present the word of God unto them, concentrating and consecrating on the work the Lord has given us, be earnestly declaring, be earnestly defending, be earnestly contending for the Faith once delivered unto the Saints, concentrate on ‎that, don't be shifted to this and be shifted to that, He says we need to concentrate and we need to consecrate,.
✔️ consecrate and concentrate on teaching the word of God
✔️ consecrate and concentrate on encouraging people.
✔️ consecrate and concentrate on lifting up people.
✔️ consecrate and concentrate on helping other people to stand and to stand firm and never to compromise. The Lord is telling us according to Mark chapter 13:34 For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. The Lord is telling us to watch constantly.

II. The Commitment we ought to have to an effective personal watchfulness. Mark 13:35-36; This is a commandment to everyone and this is what we need to commit ourselves to as a child of God, He says Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning. This is not the time to be careless, and relaxing like David was relaxing, and then saw what he shouldn't have seen, and then he followed that up and he fell into the pit. Keep on watching at evening and at midnight, He calls us to watchfulness everytime, everywhere and at every cross road, He says keep watching, but if you're not watching, lest His coming suddenly he find you sleeping. That is taking about spiritual sleeping, spiritual slumbering, spiritual lukewarmness, spiritual carelessness and not paying attention, not being at alert anymore. He wants us to watch and we need to commit ourselves to watchfulness everytime. He wants us to be ready, He wants us to have effective watchfulness.

III. Effective Personal watchfulness.
Matthew 24:42,25:13, Luke 21:36; 1 Thessalonians 5:6; 1 Peter 4:7; 1 Peter 4:4; Mark 13:37; Luke 12:35-38; 1 Corinthian 1:7; I Thessalonians 1:10; 2 Thessalonians 3:5; James 5:7-8.
Your watchfulness is personal, and it must be effective, it's a personal decision, it's a personal direction, it's a personal Devotion unto the Lord, Jesus said we should watch and He said it over and over and over again, He wants us to be ready and He does not wants us to be forgetful, He emphasized that again that we don't know the time, and not even the Angels in heaven, nobody knows, authors of any book doesn't know, and no so called Prophet of this latter days knows, He said, Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. Those who are careless they are sleeping, those who are lukewarm, they are sleeping, and those who are running after the world and they are not thinking about the coming of the Lord, they are sleeping, and those who are buried in the things of the world and they threw away the assignment the Lord has given to every believers, they are sleeping, the end of all things is very near, and close at the door, what is going to be your reaction when He says but the end of all things is at hand?

✔️ 1 Peter 4:4. Be sober and watchful unto prayer. That's the response of any person who knows that the Lord is coming and He knows that the Lord can come at anytime, He needs to be watchful and he need to commit himself to watching everytime in an effective personal manner.

✔️Revelations 16:15. He says, Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
He will come suddenly and unannounced, He will come when people are not aware, He will come when people are likely to be sleeping, keep your garment of righteousness the Lord gives you at the point of redemption and at the point of being born again, don't neglect that garment and don't allow the garment to be eaten by termites of temptation and termites of evil deeds. Don't allow your garment to be eaten or to be defiled by any action at all.

*You need to have this personal watchfulness, everybody are to watch. And JESUS said, what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch. What He said to His immediate apostles, He says unto all the rest of the disciples to watch, don't let difficult time or delightful time to shake you from your ground, watch He's telling everyone of us, we need to watch because the Lord is going to come back again unannounced, and we don't know the hour, we don't know the time, that's why He wants us to watch. Don't allow any part of your life to be flabby, or to be careless or to be compromising, act like you're waiting for His coming, behaves like you're waiting for His coming, behave like maybe He will come today and tomorrow, you're watching, and you're listening to when the trumpet Will sounds, there's no time and there's no chance to be careless, there are people that say, once you're saved, you're forever saved, those are the people that contradicts Christ, they contradict the Saviour Jesus Christ, Jesus said watch, but they say they don't have to watch, the blessedness of those who are watching the Lord will fulfil in your life. Keep on watching, He's coming and you will not be left behind when He comes.

The people of the Corinthians church had gifts, some of them were rejoicing and they forget what they ought to remember, whatever gifts you have, keep waiting for the coming of our Lord, whatever opportunity you have, keep waiting for the coming of the Lord, whatever blessings and experiences you have and whatever testimony you can give, keep waiting for the coming of the Lord. Whatever you're passing through, and whatever maybe happening around, keep waiting for the coming of Christ. Waiting for the coming of the Lord is what we ought to do, and while we are doing His work, we must be watchful and waiting for His coming, keep on waiting, don't allow anything to shift your attention and to shift your focus, and to shift your concentration from that waiting for the Lord. Everywhere we have been told in the scriptures that He's coming and as you watch, wait patiently and act and behave like someone waiting for the coming of the Lord, and whatever you're going through, at the time of trials and persecution, be patience, are you expecting something that has not come and your mind is in worried and you want to throw away your faith and your confidence in God just because you have not got that thing, be patience, God will settle everything, your prayer will be answered, all the writers and Authors led by the Spirit, touched by the Spirit, they encouraged the Saints to be patience untill the end, till the Lord comes, and He says those who endure till the end shall be saved, temptation will come, trials, difficulty, and persecution will arise, but you must endure, and all the Apostles are warning us and exhorting us and they are encouraging us by the Spirit of God, don't allow anything happening to jolt you or destabilize you, He wants us to be members of the few church that are filled and indwell by the Spirit of God, and then He wants us to do everything He has called us to do, He says, But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
And while we are doing what He has called us to do, and what He has commissioned and empowered us to do, He will come and great will be our reward, be stable, be established in the Lord, don't be blown by all the winds and by the whirlwind of circumstances happening today, even to the point of Revelation, He's telling us to watch, as His coming draws nearer, He wants us to watch and ready and looking for that day when He will come, He wants us to be saved and make sure that you're saved, He wants us to be sanctified and you must keep that purity of heart because blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. He wants us to be so committed unto the Lord, He has purged our lives, we are looking for His appearing, the Rapture will take place then the great tribulation will start. Make sure you're saved, sanctified and waiting and watching. ‎
