TOPIC: MAKE GOD HAPPY
BIBLE TEXT: ROMANS 8:8,9
Key Verse: "So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God" (Romans 8:8).
A man had two children; a boy and a girl. The girl was obedient, humble, gentle and respectful; but her brother was very stubborn, proud, rebellious and refused to be a friend of Jesus. Their parents did not like this and were very unhappy. The same applies to God. If you want to make God happy, you must become a friend of Jesus by turning away from your sins and become born again.
Do you want to make God happy? Yes, it is important. But you cannot do it if you are living in sin. God hates sin, it separates man from Him. Sin makes you stink like a dead rat before God. Why not repent and be washed in the blood of Jesus? The blood of Jesus will take away all your sins. Read the Bible daily, obey it, pray always, win souls for Christ, and begin to live a holy life. God will be happy with you.
Prayer: Dear God, help me to live my life to please You in Jesus' Name.
