TOPIC: CRY ALOUD!
TEXT: ISAIAH 58:1-5
Key Verse "Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins" (Isaiah 58:1).
When there is need to prevent calamities or rescue people from dangers, people usually 'Cry Aloud.'
When people see danger approaching, for instance, noticing smoke coming out from the bonnet of a moving vehicle or from the window of a house, you often hear people raising danger alarms and shouting at the top of their voices, 'Fire! Fire!!' This has helped to prevent loss of lives and properties.
There is no danger that is as terrible as the danger of someone heading to eternal life in hell fire. In our passage today, God called on His prophet, Isaiah, to cry aloud and lift up his voice like a trumpet to show the people of God their sins.
God is calling believers today to urgently and loudly warn sinners to turn away from their sins in order to escape hell fire. The judgment of God is coming soon and there is no time to waste.
Preach the gospel to all sinners to rescue them from hell. You have this rescue mission to fulfil, and those who fail in this responsibility will also be in danger of hell.
Prayer: Lord, help me to rescue sinners around me from the danger of hell fire.
