TOPIC: NOAH - THE MAN GOD REMEMBERED
TEXT: GENESIS 8:1-4
Key Verse: "And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged" (Genesis 8:1).
God is not like man; He does not forget His own children, neither does He forget His promises. The flood kept Noah with his family and the animals in the ark for one hundred and fifty days, yet, God remembered Noah.
No matter how difficult things are for you, God will always remember you, if you are His child. True children of God are obedient to Him in all things.
Noah obeyed God by following and living for Him, also by preaching repentance from sin to the people and warning them of the impending rain and flood on the earth. Noah's obedience was complete when he built the ark according to God's instruction. God remembered Noah because he was faithful to His call and command.
What about you? Are you obedient to God's call to repentance, to turn away from sin? If not, delay is dangerous; accept Him now! Acknowledge your sinful state, confess your sins to God, ask Him for forgiveness and cleansing through the blood of Jesus, and invite Jesus Christ into your life as Saviour and Lord.
Begin a new life in Christ. When God remembered Noah, He gave him and all that were with him a new life. He wants to do the same for you. God remembered Noah; He will remember you as well.
Prayer: Dear Father, please remember me as You remembered Noah.
