PROMISED HELP
PSALM 46:1-5
KEY VERSE: "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1).
A refuge is a place of protection from harm, danger, distress or trouble. It is a place of safety where the enemy cannot enter. When a child runs from a bully or someone older and stronger than him into his house, his mind is at peace. He has peace because of the assurance that the person will not be bold enough to enter his house to harass or beat him up in the presence of his parents. He has found a place of protection from the pursuing enemy.
It is the same with God's children who choose to trust Him. There are many dangerous things happening around us and God is the only One who can keep and protect us from harm. The best place of refuge is in Jesus. Come to Him now and you will be safe and secure from every form of evil.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, protect me from all harm.
