TOPIC: PERFECT SECURITY
TEXT: PSALM 91:1-10
Key Verse: "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty" (Psalm 91:1).
Insecurity in the world has become a matter of concern to government and the citizens as well. The limited nations and other world organizations have set up a lot of measures to solve the problem without success.
This shows that none has found solution to this fearful problem. The good news is that God is the only source of the believer's security. They need not fear but rather trust in God.
The problem of insecurity in the world has led to increase in the cases of murder, rape, kidnapping, terrorism, ritual killings, robbery and occultism. All these bring fear and uncertainty which make our homes unsafe.
In order to be safe, many people seek help and protection from the wrong source. The word of God teaches us that there is no perfect security anywhere outside Christ. God is our refuge in time of trouble.
Those who look for help from wrong sources should understand that God alone provides perfect security. If they will come to Him by turning away from their sins today, they will be secured under His refuge.
Prayer: Lord, keep me under Your refuge.
