TOPIC: FAITH IN OUR COVENANT KEEPING GOD.
TEXTS: DEUTERONOMY 7:9
NOTES: Today as we begin our covenant service, we need to understand that, in our generation, in the generations past, and in the generation to come, God has proved Himself. And in this very year, you will know definitely that God is our covenant Keeping God, and as you believe in His promises, it'll be done.
If you're Born Again, if God has called you out of Egypt and you're on your way to the promised land, He will prove Himself to you that He is the covenant keeping God, He keep His covenant and His promises with all those who love Him, He does that to all generations
COVENANT WITH GOD THROUGH CHRIST GRANTS US:
✅ A life that cannot be destroyed
✅ A love that cannot be denied. You will experience the love of God this year.
✅ A Righteousness that cannot be devalued.
✅ A Rest that cannot be disturbed. He will give you rest in the day, in the night, rest in your Spirit, soul and body.
✅ A Joy that cannot be delayed. Sorrow will vanish away.
✅ A Hope that cannot be disappointed. Your expectations will not be destroyed and disappointed.
✅ A light that cannot be dimmed or darkened. Nobody will dim your light.
✅ A purity that cannot be defiled.
✅ Power that cannot be defeated. Nothing will defeat you, you're preserved all the days of your life, your family is preserved, and nothing will defeat the power of God is their lives.
✅ A promise that cannot be disannulled. He promises you health, healing, and those promises will be fulfilled in your life.
✅ Wealth that cannot be depleted .
✅ A heaven that cannot be disputed. Nobody will destroy your hope of getting to Heaven. It's the provisions of the power of God whose word cannot be destroyed,
✅ He even gives us Faith as a Gift.
👉 POINT #ONE: THE FOUNDATION OF GOD'S COVENANT WITH HIS PURCHASED PEOPLE.
EXODUS 19:5.
Christ purchased us and He says we are now different, we are now distinct, we are now distinguished from the people of the world. He doesn't look at us as He looks at other people because we are peculiar above all other people who doesn't know Christ.
I. THE COVENANT WITH THE OMNIPOTENT.
DEUTERONOMY 29:9; JEREMIAH 32:17,27,40; MATTHEW 19:26; LUKE 1:37,72.
The Lord is so great, He's so Powerful, He's all sufficient God, He will not fail in your life because there's no failure in Him, there's no failure in your life this year. In all that you do, you will be distinct, in your exams, you will have distinction, God is able and He will take you to the highest level. There's nothing too hard for God, He's watching over His words unto you, He has a covenant with you, He will be there at the moment you call Him. Anything you need this year, just call Him and all His riches and everything is fulfilled already. He's Greater than the richest man, He's Greater than the most equip and expert doctor, and He says, He'll take care of you. He is ever present I am that I Am. He's the God of your flesh, and in your life, nothing is too hard for Him. He created the universe out of nothing, He will not turn away from you, the devil will not separate you from the Almighty. With God, nothing shall be impossible. That is the God that is having covenant with you and He remembers His Holy covenant with us.
II. THE CONDITION OF OUR OBEDIENCE.
EXODUS 23:22,25-26; DEUTERONOMY 11:27,21; ACTS 5:29,32; 1 JOHN 3:22.
The condition that all His Covenants will be fulfilled is that we are obedience unto Him. The enemies will not destroy your progress, Just obey God, when you obey Him, the condition is, He will be an enemy unto your enemies, and an adversary unto your adversaries. You will serve the Lord, rain or sunshine, pandemic or challenges will not hold you back. Nothing on earth, nothing in the sky, nothing in the bush, nothing in the forest will pull you back from serving the Lord. That's the Omnipotent and all powerful God telling you that He will take away every sickness out of your life and His blessings will run and flow after you, His blessings will overtake you if you will obey the commandments of God. If we keep to the commandments of God, our days will be multiplied and the days of our children will be prolonged. All your children will live long, they will be healthy and be above you if Jesus tarry.
✔️ No recession in Heaven, there is no recession in your life
✔️ No devastation in Heaven, there is no devastation in your life.
✔️ No pandemic in heaven, there is no pandemic in your family.
✔️ No limitations in Heaven, there is no limitations in your life.
This year is the year that God will fulfil His promises in your life.
III. OUR CONFESSION OF HIS OBLIGATION.
PSALMS 81:10; 2 CORINTHIANS 4:13-14; ACTS 27:25; ROMANS 4:17-21.
He has obligation to fulfil, and He will manifest His promises and His obligation in your life. Don't let the ignorance put their words in your mouth, the only word in your mouth is the word of God and the obligation of God. God has a promise and obligations and commitment He made with you personally. When God gave promise to Abraham, he didn't equated himself with Lot, he singled himself out, and when God gave a promise to Jacob, he singled himself out and God changed his destiny, that's how we should live that when God gives us promises, we shouldn't equate ourselves with other people, single yourself out and confess what you believe. You're out of darkness, you're out of Egypt, you're out of oppression already, as He has brought you out, open your mouth and He will fill it. Everything you open your mouth to confess this year will be yes and Amen in your life and in your family. There's no danger, there's no incurable disease, He will fill your mouth with blessings this year as open it wide. You speak, you say, you declare and decree what you believe. If you don't believe negative things, you will not speak it out, you will not declare it out. What you believe is what you will confess. This year, you will declare only the word of God that you believe, it's that word that you believe that you will declare.
Has God promised you wealth, health, progress, and healing? That is what you will confess. When the promise was given to Abraham, that's what he confessed and when the promise was given to the rest in the Old Testament, that's what they confessed and now it turns to the Apostles, it's the word that God has given them that they declared and confessed. That promise extends to us, and every promises will be yes and Amen in our lives. We confess the obligation and the promises and the commitment of the Lord. That is what we should confess everytime. Nothing is too hard for God and you will realize that, open your mouth wide and God will fill it, He will do it for you. Even before you see it happen, it has been done. He knows the end from the beginning, the victory you're going to have until the end of the year, God knows it already and when you confess what He says, you will have it. Even though the situation was hopeless for Abraham, yet he kept on believing and God fulfilled that promise in his life because he wasn't weak in faith, before the fulfillment of the promises, he was giving Glory to God, this year, I am fully persuaded, that this year will be very different from every other years I have lived. Whatever the harassment that will go on anywhere, there will be Peace of God in your life, and the power of God will be so operate in your life that you will sense it and that power of God will not fail in your life. Have a persuasion that can never be reversed, diminished and that will always be there, that will be realized in your life this year, the declaration of our mouth is that God Himself will fulfil His promises in our lives.
👉 POINT #TWO: THE FAITHFULNESS TO GOD'S COVENANT AND TO HIS PECULIAR PEOPLE.
DEUTERONOMY 7:9,12,15; 1 CORINTHIANS 1:9
God is the faithful God, He keeps His covenant and He gives that unto us and He keeps the commandments of the law for us, He is faithful God and because of that faithfulness, He will not fail in your life and in your family. It's God that called you, He chose you out of great multitudes, He was faithful in Salvation and He will be faithful in all His promises.
I. THE FACTS CONCERNING GOD'S PECULIAR PEOPLE.
EXODUS 19:5-6; DEUTERONOMY 14:2-3; 26:18-19; TITUS 2:14; 1 PETER 2:9.
God's people are peculiar because they are obedience, it's that obedience that makes you a peculiar treasure unto God. The Lord has chosen you, and when you're living an uncompromising life, unyielding life and everytime you're Holy unto God, you will become a peculiar. Holiness makes you a real child of God. We are saved, we are redeemed, we are taken out of iniquity, and because of that, we are not dressing and acting like other people, our light is so shine, God purifies us unto Himself a peculiar people. The peculiar people live a different, a distinct and a distinguished life. If you're saved and Holy, your life will be peculiar, humble, obedience, loving and yielding to the covenant of the Lord
II. OUR FIRMNESS IN COMMITMENT TO GOD'S PERPETUAL PLAN.
DANIEL 1:8; PSALMS 17:3-5; ACTS 11:23; 2 TIMOTHY 3:10-14.
God has a plan for you and His plan will be firm in our lives, that plan of God is perpetual and whatever distinctive declaration He has made, He makes that perpetual and we are to be firm as the patriarch in the Bible, we should be firm in our commitment to God, you will commit yourself to the perpetual plan and precept of God.
Make up your mind to stand upon the word of God, you must purpose in your heart to do what pleases God, it's that purpose of heart to the perpetual precepts and perpetual covenant of God that makes you peculiar in the sight of the Lord. No member of your body will transgress, that's the purpose of a child of God who is Holy. We can see the Grace of God that saves, you have the Grace of God that saves and sanctifies, that grace is sufficient for every challenge in your life, it will sustain you in any temptations, if the Grace is there, it will act in your life itself. While you're looking at the appearance of the Lord, you purpose in your heart that you will cleave unto the Lord. If you don't make up your mind and decide to live a new life, the old life will still rise on the surface again. The determination of your life should be that, you will live a different life, and with purpose of heart you will cleave unto the Lord.
III. OUR FAITH AND CONSIDERATION OF GOD'S PRESENT PROMISES.
MATTHEW 21:21-22; JAMES 1:6; ROMANS 4:18-21; HEBREWS 10:19-23.
You don't consider infirmity and any negative things, all you're considering is the present promises of the Lord in your life and the Lord will give you Grace.
How can you have every utterance affirmed, declaration confirms, and prayers answers?
å Have Faith in God.
å Doubt not in your heart.
å Say it out.
å See it done.
å Put action to your Faith.
å Rejoice before the Lord.
That's how you can get the promise of God fulfilled. If God has prosper you, you will no more be sorrowful, have faith, but faith without action is dead. Let your heart be full of Joy because the Lord has done it.
👉 POINT #THREE: THE FULLNESS OF GOD'S COVENANT FOR HIS PRECIOUS PEOPLE.
JOHN 1:16; EPHESIANS 3:19-21.
If you're Born Again, then you're precious in His sight. He will preserve you to the very end, He will not allow anything to hurt you, this year is going to be a renewed, revived, revitalized year to everyone IN JESUS Name. Amen.
Look at the Grace of God like the ocean, and them when you need more, you go to that river with bucket and fetch it out, and when you finish that, you go back to the river and take in out of the river, the river of God's Grace is full everytime, you go to the presence of God, you will find Grace for everything. If there's anything in your life which is not right, and you try to contends against it, bring in the Grace of God, bring in the Goodness and the power of God, bring in the promise of God, bring in your confession of who God is and that dirty and negative things will be out of your life and you will be filled with all the fullness of God's goodness. That power will work in your life, and every moment the power of God will not fail in your life. The Lord will bring His promises and His blessings into your life.
I. THE COVENANT AND PROMISE OF HEALING.
EXODUS 15:25; JEREMIAH 33:3,6,9; MATTHEW 8:16-17; 1 PETER 2:24; HEBREWS 13:8.
God is ever present, He healed in the past, He's healing now, and He will continue to heal. Health will never diminished in your life, healing will never stopped in your life, if you pray to God, He will give you solution, He will heal every member of your family. This year, the power you have never experienced, you will experience. The progress you never experienced, you will experience, the miracle you never see, you will see this year. The moment you confess and mention that, it's done. God will bring health and cure into your life, He will reveal to you the abundance of Peace, you will be honoured before all nations of the earth, it will happen in every life IN JESUS Name. Amen. God will carry every sickness away from your life, He has taken our sins away, just release yourself to Christ, repent of all those sins, He has borne them already, and by His stripes you're healed, He's the same yesterday and today and forever.
II. THE COVENANT WITH THE PARTAKERS OF HIS HOLINESS.
LUKE 1:72-75; ROMANS 6:18-19,22; 2 CORINTHIANS 7:1-2; 2 PETER 1:3-4.
When you get saved, God will remembers His Holy covenant, when He changes your nature and He pass His Holiness to you, He will remembers His covenant. He will grant unto you blessings and success. come to the covenant of God, serve Him without fear, no fear, no panic, no harassment of the devil this year. As Moses was bold before Pharaoh, you will be bold before enemies. As Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were bold before Nebuchadnezzar, you will be bold the fiery furnace, as Peter and the rest were bold before the Sanhedrin, you will be bold before enemies. When you come with covenant with the Lord, you will not go back the same, but you'll go back renewed, you'll go back vitalised, all the timidity is taken away and now you can serve God in Holiness without fear, everything you do, it'll be in Holiness and before Him all the days of your life, like Enoch didn't backslide all the 300years he followed the Lord, you will not backslide.
🖊 In Holiness, there's "HUMILITY". You will serve God with Humility this year.
🖊 In Holiness, there's "OBEDIENCE". Serve God with obedience.
🖊 In Holiness, there's "LOVE AND LOYALTY".
🖊 In Holiness, there's "INNOCENCE AND INTERGRITY".
🖊 In Holiness, there's "NEW NATURE OF CHRIST" comes to us.
🖊 In Holiness, there's "ENDURANCE". You will never be conquered by temptations and challenges, but you will endure until the end.
🖊 In Holiness, there's "SEPARATION FROM THE WORLD".
🖊 In Holiness, there's "SINCERITY AND STEADFASTNESS. You will be sincere everyday, and you will do everything with all sincerity and steadfastness.
That's the Holiness God says He will grants us, and we will serve Him with Holiness and Righteousness.
III. THE COMPLETENESS OF PROVISION FOR HIS HEIRS.
ROMANS 8:16-17, GALATIANS 3:28-29; 4:6-7; TITUS 3:7; ROMANS 8:28,29,32
We are heirs of God and we are complete in Him. We belongs to God, He went to Calvary and He paid the price at Calvary for us, not just for Himself, but it's for you and I. Whatever Christ has, we are joint heir with Him.
Christ is Holy, We are Holy.
Christ was promoted in High Heaven, we are promoted too.
Christ prayed and God answered Him, when we pray, God will answer us too. everything has been handed over unto Him, we are joint heirs with Christ, and whatever Christ do, we will do, whatever He has, we will have.
🖊 Christ doesn't have sickness, you will not have sickness.
🖊 Christ doesn't have oppression, you will not have oppression.
🖊 Satan cannot have dominion over Christ, Satan will not have dominion over you.
🖊 Christ doesn't had the fullness of Joy, you will have the fullness of Joy.
🖊Angels bow and worships Christ, all the power of darkness will bow before you this year.
🖊 All power are given unto Christ, all power will be given unto you this year
This is your year of victory, is a year of triumph, is a year of dominion, you will dominate, you will stand, you will match on every calamity, you will match on every evil power, you will subdue them, they are under your feet, you will trample on all the power of Satan, no power will destroy you, no power will push you down, you will have all the promises of God.
